warranty. High-end binos at a medium price...
When I hear a new bird, I grab this and the voice recorder
It is quick to get the sound- often not so easy to see the bird.
K3 DSLR
Pentax K3 DSLR with 55-300 lens. Great camera with "weather seals".
Very versatile, highly rated lens. Ricoh/Pentax makes good stuff.
Sennheiser K6/ME66 shotgun mike for video
Phillips voice recorder.
Phillips DT6500 voice recorder.
Handy for catching birdsong for Id'ing.
5 sec. "pre-record" is very useful. Can use ext mike.
Reconyx XP9
Reconyx XP9 used to take photos and videos of Canyon Wrens.
Very reliable and quality pics and videos. Has a separate lens
for day and night. You can adjust many parameters. USA made.
Very good customer service. Expensive, but a great camera.
Takes practice to catch the 1/2 oz. birds. Ask me for details.
Also used recently for turkeys.

These "scoops" are very handy for filling feeders. Bestnest has
the small one. Chewy has the large one. (STOKES SELET 3 IN 1)

A very interesting book for birders. It references MANY
studies from around the world about bird intelligence,
intuition, how they migrate, etc. Some amazing stuff!
