Making babies...

They hide the nests very well. Turbo uncovered this one in the garden.

Mom & babies just left the nest behind the big rock. LOOK UNDER MOM...

Babies are very hard to catch on film. The mom is extremely cautious!

Probably 2 months old.

The moms bring families together. We called these "2-12". 2 moms and 12 babies.

Hanging around after a meal and drink.

Chow time. We feed oats and black sunflower seed.

A big bunch in mid-winter.

2020- Betty & Jean (BJ)- showed up June 14. Only 1 of 10 babies survived...

2020 2nd mom with 4 babies- Jun 29. They stayed together with BJ into Aug. ("2-5")
